imperfectionsExploring different mediums of 3-dimensional art forms – this type of sculptural art brought me a fresh perspective into the world of spatial design, playing with different forms, structures as well as textures and finishes. I was particularly drawn to the wide variety of engraving techniques and the interesting patterns formed on the surface of the clay from different minerals.

As a Freelance Creative Consultant to the small-scaled redevelopment project of an Art Gallery Café, I participated in the overall process from design to realisation. Reinventing the ground floor space of a longstanding brick house to bring a creative space for artistic appreciation. As well as adding an eye-catching wall painting to the exterior of the house to advertise the fisherman village's heritage.

4 by fourThis photography piece of my collection of boxes ‘Towering Art’ consists of four photos of 4 boxes stacked on top of each other. The placement of the boxes shows a gradual deterioration of the structure. The first still image – a strong erection of four solid boxes, as you move to the right the same boxes are captured from different angles and positions, slowly collapsing into itself. This is portrayed through photography as it has the ability to capture an instant in time forever; that although the last four boxes were moments from crumbling to the floor, the image shows it as forever standing.
